WellConnection forms strategic partnership with Westcon for award of Statoil Subsea maintenance frame agreement

WellConnection have announced an exclusive partnership with Westcon for the award of the newly announced subsea frame agreement for Statoil.

WellConnection will assist Westcon with expertise and facilities to handle the scope of work under the contract based on our longstanding expertise within Subsea IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair). This agreement is expected to reduce cost by creating a more competitive market within maintenance of subsea equipment.
CEO of the WellConnection Group, Mr Rune Haddeland states in relation to the contract award “We are very satisfied with winning this agreement together with Westcon. We have had a very good cooperation with Westcon over several years that now have created this joint opportunity for strongly increased activity”. Further he states that “Offering high quality and cost efficient maintenance services for OEM equipment is in line with our strategy and this contract is a confirmation that our strategy is sought for in the market.”
